FEDERICA INTELISANO

Editor/ VFX Artist

Federica Intelisano is an award winning editor, VFX artist and supervisor, director, and media artist. She is represented in Europe by the agency Puro, in the Middle-East and Asia by the agent Bernardo Barilli, and in the United States by the agent Claudia Conti. She owns and operates her own editing and VFX studio known as Innerspace, and she, along with a talented group of employed artists and editors, regularly collaborates with commercial brands and advertising firms world wide.
At the young age of 23, Federica saw her first professional success with her role as lead editor and assistant director on the documentary film “Sgarbistan” (runtime 75 minutes). This early work from Federica’s career has recently been re-screened at Capri, Hollywood Film Festival.
She has worked on many award winning projects and personally achieved the Golden Prize for best editing at the Cyclops Film Festival, one of the most renowned film awards in the world for her work in editing. She worked as the VFX supervisor for the award winning documentary drama “The Crown Shyness” (La timidezza delle chiome, runtime 96 minutes) by director Valentina Bertani which was shown at the 79th Venice Film Festival, in the section St. Giornata Degli Autori (YouTube link). The film went on to be screened in theaters all across Italy and is set to soon be shown globally and is now selected at the 68th David in the Best Documentary
Section. Her Commercial work includes industry heavy-hitters such as: Nike, Versace, Valentino, Motorola, Jimdo, Zara, Instagram, Gatorade, ESPN, Peroni, NFL, Lamborghini, Maserati, Puma, Vodafone, Hugo Boss, GGDB, Prada, Armani, Ugg, TOD’s and is one of the most sought after editors in Italy. Many important actors, influencers and artists have been featured in Federica’s editing work including: Bella Hadid, Lil Yachty, Chiara Ferragni, Irina Shayk, Daniel Brühl, Paris Jackson, Roberto Rossellini, Emmanuelle Seigner, Maria Carla Boscono, Cole Sprouse and more. She also collaborated with many important directors and directors of photography in film and advertisement including André Turpin, Giampaolo Sgura, Maxime Bruneel and more.
Federica spent time on the team of the International Filmmaking Academy where she had the opportunity to improve her style and expertise working as a tutor and mentor along with Oscar Award-Winning Directors such as Francis Ford Coppola, Bèla Tarr, Jane Campion and Cristian Mungiu.
As a Video and Digital Artist she was selected along with 10 other talents from across the globe for the Celeste Prize, and her Video Art Projects have been screened at over 40 Museums in Europe including OXO Tower Warf (London), Macro Museum (Rome), Triennale Museum (Milan) and at Centre Pompidou (Paris). 
After the success of her most recent feature film “The Crown Shyness”, Federica gained even further critical recognition and has already been listed for work as lead editor in Virgilio Villeresi’s “Orfeo.” In addition, Federica will once again join director Valentina Bertani (The Crown Shyness) in her follow up feature film “Misquitos” as VFX supervisor. Federica and Valentina are also known professionally together as the female directing duo Dirk+Diggler and
have recently worked on campaigns in Italy and Dubai with world renowned agencies Publicist
and TBWA. Through her vast work experience, she has been credited and praised both online and in print by prestigious periodicals including Vogue, L’officiel, Vanity Fair, and The Fashionisto.
